How do you change the life of an inmate? Some criminals seem so hardened from their lives of crime that it seems they’ll never change. Some people would say ‘good riddance, they deserve the lives they’ve created for themselves,’ but at Car Angel, we believe that every life is worth saving.

Car Angel started to create books that would meet criminals where they’re at and inspire them to make changes in themselves. In May 2005, Car Angel sent out 200,000 of these books into the prisons and you know what? They’re making a difference.

We have received letters from chaplains, wardens and especially inmates thanking us for the books we’ve sent out and asking for more materials. Some of the letters as so inspiring they would bring tears to your eyes.

Every year a new book is released into the prisons and our books are known to save taxpayers an estimated $160,000,000 a year because of the changes they have inspired. Inmates have completely changed their lives around and can enter into society as changed individuals, capable of all sort of good things.
